Mission Statement

Emergency volunteering

The mission of the Shawnee County Medical Reserve Corps is to provide volunteer medical, mental health, and administrative support during local emergencies, and to promote health and wellness in the community.


What We Do

Non-emergency volunteering

The Medical Reserve Corps provides an opportunity for volunteers with medical skills, mental health skills, and a variety of other specialties to provide support during a public health emergency in Shawnee County.

MRC volunteers are used in two capacities:

  • Emergency
  • Non-Emergency
